Nanbargal Helping Hands is an non-profitable trust registered under the government of tamilnadu , which was started successfully by Mr.P.Ramesh Kannan(Managing Trustee) in the year 2014.The history of the trust takes a year back , in 2013 when we met Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam where he was the one who inspired us to start the trust.
We do various activities for the welfare of the community surrounding us like
- Constantly developing the life of the people in the villages.
- Encouraging women to take active part in the community and helping them to have independent source of income like free tailoring and candle production classes.
- Planting trees and seeds in various places.
- We have yearly free health camps for people across different ages in order to monitor their health and giving them tips to maintain their
- family health.
- We also provide free education to the children who are in a poor financial condition, and free books and stationaries is being provided frequently to most of the government schools in our region.
- We have also started free handbag making classes for women in Madurai which has been an alternative source of income for most of the families.
- We have also been continuously providing financial and material assistance to around 5000 families all over Tamilnadu.
- We also take care of backward caste children by providing them free education and financial assistance starting from school till they complete their college studies.
- We have also helped a lot of people during the times of natural disasters like Gaja cyclone and others by giving them accommodation, food and economic assistance.
- We have been also helping physically handicapped people in their various needs like providing them with wheel chair, iron box, giving hearing aid for the deaf.
- We have also been giving water supply to all draught affected places in ramanathapuram district.
- We have more than 5000 actively participating volunteers who help the people all over Tamilnadu whenever the need arises.
- Our future plans is to expand our trust by starting few homes for the orphan children, free hospitals for the aged and poor.
